Also inside the booklet there is a little history on Giuseppe Garibaldi and the red shirt.
1862- 1865 Garibaldi Shirt Pattern
Yay! Just picked myself up the 1862-1865 Garibaldi shirt pattern, Past Patterns 709 from Needle and Thread in Gettysburg PA.
Summer Dresses
Two beautiful painting of girls in summer attire. Top picture- They have there hair down! I love the green dress with the white shear sleeves. Bottom picture- They all look like they're wearing ball gowns. My favorite is the green silk dress in front. Love the color, bertha, sleeves. She looks to be wearing a necklace and ribbons around her wrists. I love the curls worn by the girl in the white shear dress with blue silk ribbons.

Describing Pickett's Charge
Foot to foot, body to body and man to man
they struggled, pushed and strived and killed.
The mass of wounded and heaps of dead en-
tangled the feet of the contestants, and, under-
neath the trampling mass, wounded men who
could no longer stand, struggled, fought,
shouted and killed-hatless, coatless, drowned
in sweat, black with powder, red with blood,
with fiendish yells and strange oaths, they
blindly plied the work of slaughter, valor
could do no more.

Eye See You
I want $125 to spend on an eyeball. Don't know what I wold use it for. Is there any way to tell if a glass eyeball is CW correct? Maybe I could use it for my Vivandieres impression, they sometimes helped at the hospitals.
My Anime Soldier
I'm teaching myself how to draw anime, here is the second drawing I made. He's a little Union Soldier of the Civil War.

Wrap up warm for the Remembrance Day Parade, this Saturday, November 23rd. It starts at 1:00pm from LeFever Street and follow the traditional route to Liberty Street, turning left onto Middle Street, left again onto Baltimore, and finally onto Steinwehr Avenue. The parade will end at the Gettysburg National Military Park. It's a fun parade, hope to see you there.

Vivandieres
I don't know much about Vivandieres. One thing I would like to know is the age of the ladies. I know a soldier had to be over 18 years of ages before joining the military, but sometimes they would get in without being that old. I don't know if Vivandieres ever were found doing the same things or not. Here are some pics of Vivandieres.
This looks like a young girl!

Were Vivandieres also musician?
I like the white pants
These photos look like a series, maybe a play.
Love this one
I like this hat...
with these colors.
I like this skirt
I think this is a later photograph
Here is an Oval Keg like the Vivandiere carried
Love the garters though I would rather they were a different color!
I don't know if I like the blue coat...
or the red coat better
Civil War Confederate Soldier Cap and Belt
Anyone know if this cap is corrected for the CW period, I highly doubt it.
The tag said that its 100% wool, but the inside looks polyester.
The tag also says Americana Souvenirs and Gifts!
I don't know were I got this. The tag reads it was made in China.
A man gave me this belt, I know nothing about it.
"YECK" is molded into the hook of this buckle.
Blue Gray Alliance, 150th Gettysburg
I was able to put four hours worth of battles into 11+ minutes of video. The battles in this video are from Saturday June 29th. They are; Devil’s Den, Little Round Top, Wheatfield, and Peach Orchard.
